Care & Maintenance of Ceramic Braces
The placement and removal of ceramic braces is more sensitive to technique and requires more time. Adjustments can also be more involved. While they are visually less prominent, Ceramic braces do require more attention to food restrictions because they can be more brittle than their metal counterparts. For these reasons, ceramic braces tend to be used more on upper front teeth than on lower teeth.
